Are the wings weathered to the same extent as the rest of the model? I'd say the main fuselage is hard to tell if that it's not a real model, but the sharp edges and lack of wear and chips etc, specifically around the engine intakes and the 'star' shapes near where the laser cannons connect with the cylinders on the wings, look less photo-real than the rest.
There are some things that I've done to the fuselage that I haven't circled back to do on the wings yet, and maybe that's the difference - that said, there are still some things that I need to wrap up on the fuselage as well. The engine intakes I think are up to date though with the fuselage (but I still haven't swapped out 2 for the other variation yet, although they're finished), but there are other things that I need to do with those as well. Maybe this weekend I'll be able to tie up all of the loose ends and finally get a start on the Red-5 variation.
They did learn their lesson, The next one was a freaking planet. They were all like, "We're the only ones with the power to destroy a planet, so we're good to go,"

LOL what could possibly go wrong, putting all our our eggs into one basket sounds like a great plan. These things have to be expensive too, one has to wonder where they're getting their resources and technical expertise, as a fringe movement group (first order). Outsourcing?

I dimmed the environment light a bit so R2s lights show off a bit better:

I'm gonna have to steal those HDR maps.

I'd have a long way to go to catch up to yours Wiz - Step 1: Re-model everything.
Here he is in context, you may have to squint lol.

Excuse the crappy low res BG HDR - I left it in for environment context.

Truth be told, that's darker and more warm/saturated than what I had in mind, here's a corrected version:

@evil_genius_180: thank you!

What's next Terry? More badass modeling or badass texturing?
LOL badass napping, then I'm not sure what.
