I liked the Hitchhikers' film. Definitely a fun way to pass a few hours. Though many hardcore fans seemed to hate it, the only reason I've be able to discern is "it's not like the series/book/radio show [delete depending on hipster level]".
So this is the future of shopping at the grocery store? You need weapons because you might run into something that wants the last box of Corn Pops as much as you do?
Your right to an opinion does not make your opinion valid.
@ oldmangreg: Yeah, in this future, shopping is moidah. :thumb:
Well I was about to add/build a few ground vehicles to go with the Citadel, but I decided to go with a couple I already had. So for starters I went ahead and took another stab at this one.
nice little crawler.
you should have kept the front cable with the hook (dont remember how it is called)
and a showel and a few general tools straped on the side
@ Armondikov: Practical reasons. When I made the doors they looked really good IMO, but as you can see they're huge; each nearly a third the size of the cab itself. So, if I made them to open and close in the traditional way it would be a task for the driver and passengers to close. As they would have to get out of the vehicle bring the door in some, get back in the vehicle, and then close it. Because when they are fully open they go way out. And if it were a real vehicle, over time, the weight of the doors would weigh them down in the back; so every time someone would try to close one, they would have to lift up on it, then close it. As is the case on many two door vehicles, mostly the older models though, when I was a mechanic I often found myself realigning doors. So taking all that into account, when I repositioned the pivot point I saw that if I made them swing upwards and to the front (using hydraulics) to open, when it was time to close it again, one could just hit a button or lever, release the hydraulic, and let gravity do the rest.

There's no kill like overkill!

That would be pretty cool, with the 8-wheeler chasis acting as a base so you could make dozens of little interchangeable trucks.

Quick update on the innards, be back with the rest of that stuff soon. :thumb:
Thanx dude. :thumb:
How about the steering equipment for the front end?
I was trying for something unique, however I may have to redo this in favor of something more traditional.
Quality of your renderings are really improved since i last looked, keep it up!
