Yeah, there's something slightly off about it. However, it could be just because the cartons aren't that perfect, they're often times warped a bit, no straight sides. Other than that, it looks great. :thumb:
Now to open it you need to pull on inner edge of the flap so that pinches the flap a bit so the image above is not quite accurate. It would be accurate if the glue holding the flap closed wasn't so strong you needed to pull with that force. For illustration purposes though I would make it a perfect opening.
Cool looking truck BTW.. It's not a milk truck you're making are you
Way back in 06 I did some ships that were from a graphic novel I made way back in 94, the novel was called Maxum Dawn. (The novel was never published btw.) In any case, I was bored yesterday and started redoing one of the ships, a ship posted here in fact, the ship was called The Elixer. Well without getting too much into all the back story, it was basically a former military gun ship, that had been purchased and converted into a cargo ship by a smuggler by the name of Lairah Combes. She and her two brothers Maxum Dawn and William Cobalt each had ships and were partners in their ventures. But the thing about it was, was that the original Elixer wouldn't work as a cargo ship, as there was no real place to put cargo. So, I'm redoing it, along with the original novel... I may even publish it this time.
The first image is the original Elixer, the rest, you know.
In any case, almost finished with the textures, but at this point an interior would be too much to ask for, as I will be quite bust for the next few weeks.
I like it. The original version is good, but this is better. It looks more like a gun ship and a cargo vessel, as both tend to be bulky. The original one looks more like a fighter.
@ Jedi44: Thanx dude, appreciate it much. And now that you've mentioned it, the pink ship does look kind of, Falcon-ish.
@ evil_genius_180: You know, oddly enough I was going to give it an extra set of legs at first. I forgot all about that game. I wonder if it's on Amazon... Thanx dude, appreciate it as always. :thumb:
Scale reference pic Folks, I'll start on the armor tomorrow evening. :thumb:

Do you still have an NES that works? Mine went kaput years ago. Too bad I didn't keep any of my games (including this one.) These days, you can pick up a clone NES console legally, because the patents on the NES ran out 7 years ago.
There's also the emulation route. Again, the console itself is no longer patented, so NES emulators are legal. I don't know about the game, though, and what kind of protection it's under. (probably copyrighted)

No the one at the beginning, the one with Newt in it.
Not this one:
But this one:
I haven't finished texturing it but, does the milk carton opening have the proper shape?

In any case, it's kind of based on the AT-ST/chicken walker from the Star Wars universe... Obviously.
Tell me what you think? :thumb:
Look forward to more of your good work.
