Finished the screen display for the side wall. I wanted to go with the Defiant-style one rather than the Starbase 375 one, but my god was this thing a pain to do in comparison. Just like the original prop this isn't an illuminated display, but just a silk-screened graphic (like the doorbells).

@BolianAdmiral: Thanks! Those sconces are exactly 4 feet according to some blueprints I have access to.
Been having some busy weeks but I finally had some time today to put the finishing touches on the ready room. I sculpted the details on the sofa, finished the desktop monitor, did the Defiant-style coffee carafe, and created a Starfleet Academy diploma for our good Captain. Plus I added some PADDs all over, as ever they're great for set dressing.

@Brandenberg: It's mostly based on the early TNG diplomas, but with some elements borrowed of later designs. Trek was never inconsistent on how these looked, so I made my own take rather than being faithful to one specific style, imagining that they must change them every couple of years. The frame, I just reused one that was era-appropriate and I already had made, which coincidentally, like @BolianAdmiral said, was used for a similar diploma in Voyager.

Here are the finished images! The cutaway ended up being more complicated than it usually is, I wanted to showcase the windows but I also wanted the screen, in the end the screen won.

It's true. Then you don't want to look at guest ships. Talk about inconsistent! As I said, it was a small nitpick anyway, your work is always great.
@Brandenberg: The work that went into that ship model was paying for it on CG Trader. For non-Trek specific props, I'm happy with buying models to make rooms more varied now that I have the disposable income.
Last month I was approached by Eric Campbell from The Streampunks to once again help them create interiors for their latest RPG campaign starship, like I had done back in 2020 with the USS Ross bridge. While I'm no longer doing commissions, I volunteered my free time to help out as I do quite enjoy their campaigns.
This time the setting is an old ship, the refit Excelsior-class USS Pride, last of its class by 2382 which is when the campaign (appropriately titled The Last Excelsior) takes place. The ship's last refit would've been during the Dominion War, and after said war was over the Pride was placed on the Reserve Fleet. Because of this, I went with a basic DS9-style for the interiors, though not as advanced as the Defiant or even the Lakota. Lots of ship-of-the-week black tape squares all over! I'm very happy with how this turned out, I was able to combine the old with the new in a way that works I think.
And here's the MSD, very heavily based on the one from the USS Righteous in 'Star Trek: Borg'. This was by far the piece that took the most time, and while it's not the most detailed of MSDs, I'm quite happy with it:

The bridge looks great. I like the color scheme and I'm definitely getting ship of the week vibes.
Though, I wouldn't want to be a senior officer on that ship. That area that's labeled as senior officers' quarters on the MSD is tiny, half the height of the other decks.

Hey any chance you can update some of the other bridges you did like the ones you did for me (Dreadnought, NCC-71956 Constellation, and Lexington-B with the updated lighting? Or does that count as a commission (and I know you're NOT doing those!)
Beautiful bridge my friend. I could definitely see this on DS9 as a ship of the week. Would love to see a retro or modernized version of a Constitution-class bridge with your design flare of course! 🖖🏾
Yeah, I'm digging this... nice middle ground between the movie era and the TNG era. Reminds me a little of the Defiant for some reason, maybe the feeling of close quarters and low ceiling.
I absolutely love this mix of different eras! I remember that we discussed ideas for the Lakota bridge in this topic a while ago. This version is very close!

Years ago, I dabbled in something similar, though with the Runabout's color scheme and not nearly as professional.

@evil_genius_180: Haha, yeah the MSD kinda breaks down at the top of the saucer, it's meant to be these windows but I set up the decks wrong.
@Rusty0918: Simply put it's way too much work, all the materials need modernizing, as does the lighting and the LCARS to add the gradients and other details, not to mention the meshes that I've tweaked over the years for those bridge shells.
@BlueNeumann: The colors are straight from the Defiant, as are the columns at each side of the consoles, so I'm glad it reminded you of that ship, means it worked. XD
@solaremes: Yes, the Lakota was in my mind, though as Pride was a far older Excelsior (and wasn't involved in a coup attempt), I imagined it wasn't as modernized, so the Lakota bridge looks even more like the Defiant in my head-canon, especially as what little we saw of it was literally the Defiant bridge with some standing consoles placed at the center.

Posting this in the hopes that it'll finally push me to finish it... I started this room back in... oh god back in February. Completely unrelated but a few months back I was diagnosed with ADHD and some neurodivergency, could you tell by how organized I am in finishing projects?
Anyway, I started this after this panel was up for auction (incorrectly labeled of course, but that's another issue), as it gave me the idea to use a similar graphic for a small transporter room.
I decided to make it a transporter specifically for Ops on Fontana Station. A mix of the DS9 one that's directly in Ops, and the Starbase 11/K7 ones in the CO's office. So this one will be in the small corridor that directly connects Ops to the CO's office, thus allowing easy access to both areas when needed. The transporter pad itself is based on the one from the TMP orbital office, though in the style of my Victory transporter. The control console is also based on one from TMP, though the size will be tweaked later as I incorporate the okudagram graphic posted above.
Like I said at the start, this was mainly done back in February, today I tweaked the ceiling some more and added the stickers on the walls before posting here. I'm open to suggestions on the layout though, I like it but I wouldn't say I'm 100% happy with it. Other than that, adding the okudagrams, and some more decals it's mostly done though.

Decided to add some color to the room, so I added a plant and an emblem on the wall on top of the chairs, that way it's the first thing people see when they beam in. Fontana is a station of the Diplomatic Corps after all, so the emblem helps it stand out a bit. It is of course based on the similar presidential seal from TUC. Thoughts?
