What are all the pipes coming off it?
  • rojrenrojren2304 Louisville, Kentucky USAPosts: 1,971Member
The L-shaped things? Those are guide lines for cutting and mirror planes and locations of center axes. I'm still working on it.

(I had to look up the plural of axis and this popped up)

Interestingly, axes is the only word in English that can be the plural of three different singular noun forms--ax, axe, and axis.Jan 10, 2011 -Google

Interesting design. Which part is the front?
  • rojrenrojren2304 Louisville, Kentucky USAPosts: 1,971Member
The smaller end is the front. I need to redo the cockpit windows. I don't like they way they turned out.

Ah, I see now. It's looking really good so far. :)
  • rojrenrojren2304 Louisville, Kentucky USAPosts: 1,971Member
Mostly done, except for the weapons, some markings, and maybe some lights.

The 'T' in front is mostly small steering engines. I thought having engines at the end of a long boom was an interesting idea.

The basic shape is done. Now I need to add a bunch of angular pointy bits.

Added some details to the engines. They look somewhat like automatic pistols.

It's got a great 1950s "Rocket Ships To The Stars ... And Beyond!!" sort of feel to it! Nice work, so far!

Aw, you're not going to whip out another one in the next three days? ;) (kidding, of course)

Great work on this one, I really like it a lot. :)

When I'm on a roll, I can churn a ship out pretty quickly. Right now, I'm definitely not on a roll. It's been dark and raining for most of the past week, and If I sit down at a computer, I'm lucky to stay awak...zzzzzZZzzzzz.

...And my puppy that thinks she's a cat keeps coming and standing on my keyboard.

    Yes, you can. :)

I know what you mean about the weather. I'm just about a couple hours northeast of you, so we're having the same lovely weather.
