You need a little Tron guy at the bottom of the picture there. Pretty cool trick, though.

Anyone remember that starship I was working on with the insane amount of detail? Guess what? It's back. After making some minor adjustments, I'm close to finishing the inside of the nacelles. The back end and the space between the warp coils are the last parts to detail up before I work on the outer hull part.

I'm really impressed by the details you have going on in the Bussard Collector, as well as the rest of the nacelle. Very nice.

This looks interesting. Let's see where this goes.
Probably not far as I leave for three weeks starting Monday.

Little work. Added planetary sensors on the underside and a comm array on top for when the front half lands on a planet during an emergency.

Nice looking ships! The Renegade reminds me of a TOS-ified NX class. (Or maybe Akira, but the saucer's way to large to give it much Akira-ness)

Pretty much finishing up the final details. Still to do is the landing gear for the front half (including the one I need to put on the back to support the weight there) and detailing the section where the ship separates. Also texture for the main parts of the hull need to be done as well. The separation gives a kind of old style UFO look, which I like.

quite nice, maybe do some very different ships son. either a radicaly different(not saucer and nacelles) federation design or some awesome klingon/romulan scout/cruiser/battlecruiser.

Hey, that looks kinda cool without separate nacelles! Have you considered making the booms themselves the engines, with an impulse drive between them in the usual aft-saucer location?

No. Because then the warp nacelles wouldn't be as far away from the crew as possible.

A cruiser concept I came up with today. It's a little larger than I wanted but it'll fit into the story I had in mind for it, so I don't mind.

Did you fail to see the emote at the end of my sentence? Was that not enough of an indication that it was said jokingly, and as such don't care one way or another about either the Treknical rules, or whether you take the suggestion on board??

    Jesus, lighten up.

    Little progress.
