    yeah I was messing about with it, but I can't actually see it on this monitor unless I zoom right in, so it probably looks bad

    Those look superb, though it has to be said they barely look thick enough to have the EPS conduits from it's core? Still that's just technojargon, the model looks cool!

    it's currently 56000, I'm hoping the final model will be under 100000

    and I have no idea what eps conduits are, but the pylons are only as thin as they are in the film

    Damn you. I just spent ten hours going through my dictionary and still I couldn't find the perfect word that would describe this beauty. Every single render or animation you posted here is bloody awesome. If in ten years I have 10% of your talent, I'd die a happy man...

    ok I've been building and rebuilding the top section 6 times now, I think this this is pretty close to what's in insurrection, I might re-stencil the windows one more time to see if I can improve on it, I need to merge those top panels too because it looks crap with a little bit sticking out at the front
