Mostly because there isn't a whole lot of detail on the bottom, mostly because there isn't any reference images of the bottom. And my main app is 3dsmax with post work done in adobe photoshop.
Oh and those missles are like the ones on nuclear subs, each carring a dozen warheads.

can you make a .obj export of it? I cant load it otherwise.
and, can you make sure the textures are pre-assigned to the mesh prior to export.
and, dont forget the .mat file, or all that will load is a blank mesh.
cant wait to load this up into bryce, I'm soo looking forward to some good renders off the new machine I'm getting in july.
in the meantime, can you do up some oversized individual renders of each of the 6 views of a typical set of orthographics?
oversized, as in bigger than 1024x768, and zoomed in as close as possible to the ship?
indeed, I only wish this model had been out when I started. The detail is rediculous, think I might buy on. However remember mine is battlestar possiden

Do you plan to post orthos without the rollbar - sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't.
Also, do you have plans to do any other battlestar class designs? Looks like you have alot of great ideas.

I hate to bombard the board with another custom render request, but I'm not so good with 3D modeling, and I want a Valk desktop.

The kit is more accurate than this model and appears to have been taken directly from the original 3d model
