Thanx Fellas, just a few more things to do on the Hyperion and it'll be done, but for the moment I decided to jump back to these two and finish them off. Will be back on the Hyperion in a few days or so. :thumb:
Thanx Fellas, for all of the comments, appreciate it much as always. :thumb:
@ evil_genius_180: Thanx dude, appreciate it.
@ cavebear: cavebear!!! Long time no post. Hows the family?
@ lennier1: Not really intentional, just trying like hell to work on interior lighting.
@ oldmangreg: Can you post an image? I'd like to see something else to compare it to before I finish it it. As it stands I've used inspiration from Wall-E, or as I like to refer to him, Johnny-5 08 , all of the robots from the movie The Black Hole, and a few other sci-fi elements. Thanx dude. :thumb:

Hey Hundred
Yeah, I don't get much chance to be online anymore now that my little guy is 14 months old. He's a handful to say the least! Family is doing great thank you very much:thumb: Hope you and yours are doing well too.
Sometimes it is all I can do to just get on the computer long enough to look at what every body is doing. Your stuff is just top notch as usual. Always a pleasure to see what you have been up to
I have to admit the reflections on the bodywork are making it a little tricky for me to see the lines of the bodywork itself... But I like what I can see
I don't know where this new project is going... but I'm going to be making quite a few more animation tests involving the Ugly Yellow Ship, the Citadel, the Stiletto, Hyperion, and a few of the mechs that I have. This was just a timing and composite test though.
1st shot is too long. break it donw into 2 or 3.
or start a panning from the other side of the bridge, looking down, seeing the truck attack while above it, continuing, yellow ship coming right on the camera, and then follow it down.
Does this look convincing. I'm making a bunch of construction vehicles based on several real world designs. In other words I'm not trying to directly copy a design that's already in existance. Feedback needed.
It does look a bit front heavy. Maybe stretch out the back deck some? Also, how do you access the cab? And there needs to be a way to climb up on the deck, and some hand rails. Other than that, it looks pretty convincing to me.
Still got a lot to do, and redo... This one will have multiple sets of textures, (e.g. new, worn, various colors, etc.). And I thinki the reason why it looks so front heavy is because I made the stick, (forearm), too long...

Truck Stop.
Generic Office Building.
Now this is a great looking security drone
Intentional?
Reminds me of the little sentry bots in Tales of Symphonia.

Gotto rework the back...

also, these kind of machines ALWAYS look front-heavy. but they also carry about a ton or more of weights in the back end to balance them
