I know no one has responded to last few post, but I figured I would still post some sketches
as I do them. Hopefully you all still enjoy seeing what comes out next.

Here are some more sketches done in Sketchbook Pro for the iPad.
This time I decide to doodle some of my own designs down, along with
A few ships we all have come to know and love.

Here is another example of something I get at my
    day job all the time.

Customer provides a really poor scrap of art that they
want in their ad I place the poor quality art on my
light box and create a better quality piece of lineart
then scan it into Adobe Illustrator.

In Illustrator I put the line art through Live Trace,
clean it up it needed and then color the toon/ Illustration.

After that I place it into the customers ad.

Here is a Sketchbook Pro for the iPad illustration of Optimus Prime.

I imported an old sketch of Prime into Sketchbook Pro and
used it as the under painting.

Here is a link to the original sketch.

What're your thoughts about the iPad and Sketchbook? Is it worth the money?

Well I like mine as you probably can tell. And Sketchbook Pro for me is by far the better apps compared to the others I have downloaded.

Here is a set of digital sketches from December 2010 thru Early February 2011 done in Sketchbook Pro for the iPad.

There is a mixture of Star Wars, Star Trek (I.S.S. Voyager and other Starships) and my own creations. There is also a scene from my Action Force Pages that I imported into the app and did a quick color to my lines.

While doing a few warm up sketches for a paid freelance gig I sketched this up. As I drew it it reminded me of the First Generation of Cosmo Tiger from Spacebattleship Yamato so I went with it.

    KnightOnTheTown.jpg

Here is a concept sketch that I created while wait at my Eye Doctor appointment today.
I call it A “Knight” On The Town. I haven’t drawn this character of mine in a few years, and
For some reason he popped into my head.

    About a half hour sketch.

Here is a set of sample character design concept sheets that I created this weekend as a sample for a possible freelance gig.

Hopefully I will hear back later this week.

If not more practice stuff for my portfolio.

Here is the Sample Transformers Character Design I did last week inked.

Did not get the job. He love my design, but only wanted to pay $10 a full Color Image and he wanted 20 Images. Tried to negotiate but he would not. May be able to do work together in the future when his finances are steadier. Bummer I really looked forward to working on this is sounded fun.

    Jaffa2012.jpg

Happy New Year 2012. Here is my First Drawing of 2012
I have been asked in the past if I could draw anything from the Stargate Universe, so here is my first drawing in that Universe.

Thank god I have a Jaffa Figure to as reference.

Hopefully I did the character justice.

I will ink and color him as I get time between commission request and freelance gigs that are starting to come my way.

Over the past year I have been working with a person in Cupertino, CA. Helping him and some others to develop a Sci-Fi RPG game.
They are currently rethinking a few things, but have given me
permission to post some images that I have done for them.

Here is a set of Freighter concepts.

Here is the latest version of a character I have been drawing since early High School
I have refined and redesigned him a lot over the years but the basic concept has stayed the same.
He is a member of a elite freedom fighters story that my friend Joshua Carter and I have been working
on since 1988. we both have characters that are ours but belong to the same story that Josh
has been trying to write for many years, maybe one day we will actually get this universe completely written down.
In the mean time you can enjoy my concepts for this by going to my Project Phantom sub folder on my deviant art page to see other designs.
