    Sucks to hear about the lost progress, but glad to hear you managed to get something back, McC. I was enjoying seeing this one come together.

    Please let this be a lesson that others can learn from - it's so worthwhile getting an online backup service. You set it and forget it. But it's saved my bacon a number of times, over the years. :)

    Some really impressive work! Love that latest Zerg. You've nailed the SC 2 look and feel there, IMO.

    I don't think it looks too open, personally. But another option would potentially be for the lip not to follow the hull line as much to shrink it without removing it. Eg -

    But then, I'm not sure what detailing you've got in mind. Either way - the detailing looks great. looking forward to seeing how it develops.

    That does indeed look fantastic. :)

    Something does look a little 'off' though - i was trying to put a finger on it. If you look at reference material, you'll note that the 'panels' of detail are more vertically stretched and more packed more densely than you currently have. For example -
