Ever thought about making a TIE where the wings are similiar to the Interceptor or Defender, but flipped 180 so the sharper angled 'dagger' parts point backwards, and a cockpit pod similiar to a Scimitar Bomber and/or TIE Phantom? Would look kind of like a 'skeleton' of a Y-wing, if much more aggressive and 'faster' looking due to the wing setup.
Even if you haven't, aren't interested, I figured I'd throw the idea out for you, in case you ever (ha! not likely!) get stumped for a new hull.
Interested in your thoughts on the Arquitens-class command cruiser, Ansel. I think it's far closer to the imperial design aesthetic than any of the other post-Prequels cannon ships I've seen...
(that's setting a low bar, I know...)

It's pretty obviously intended by the production teams to be of Corellian design, rather than the usual Kuati stuff: The three engines evoke the Radiant VII cruiser from TPM, the rounded docking hatches at port and starboard ala the Millenium Falcon, etc...
Based on these design cues it seems the Republic outsourced the design and manufacture of a medium cruiser design to CEC, and then the early Empire absorbed the class into its Navy - possibly relegating them to lower-priority sectors once the Imperators began appearing in earnest (if that wasn't already the case).
Since I've been updating models for 4k I realized that that the old model for this really wouldn't cut it (even at FHD), so in the same theme I took some new detail and did a 2-day kitbash again:
Nice!! Though some minor corrections if I may: The red livery looks a little too bright / saturated here, and would (IMO) benefit from being toned down a little.
Second, I believe the upper engine bulges are supposed to be painted red, also - there's an image on Wookieepedia showing the dorsal surface.
OK, it's time. After 14 years, it's time to redo this mesh. I realized as I was preparing 4k renders that my old ISD model was not really current anymore. I've been itching to do it again since Rogue One's star destroyer came out, and now it's time! This is going to be a long process, but at the end, it's going to be the best star destroyer model made, end of story. The plan is to average references from several sources, so it won't be an exact greeble duplicate of Avenger, but recognizably the same class. It will also eventually serve as the base template for other designs like Tector.
One thing I'd say - the panels on the top of the bridge - very hard to describe, but they the top-most geometry. They look very fragile at the moment. Could they be thickened a little?
No idea how canon this illustration is, but to my eye, they look a little more robust in this image -

It's a little thicker on the Avenger, but very thin on the Executor bridge detail model. So I split the difference. Averaging references to get the best result, remember?

YMMV, of course.
*screen spontaneously explodes from the sheer detailing*

I can't wait to see the final result. :argh:
A little suggestion.
How about real windows with some interior behind them?
Then it would be the ultimate Stardestroyer model ever.

That one there is the Executor bridge, I don't know if it's quite to the same scale as an ISD
