You deserve a rest after that marathon! It has a aggressive styling that's quite at odds with the shield ship you posted upthread, and I really like that about your work. Each vessel adheres to a theme and you can easily tell the factions apart.
Thanks for the comments so far. i just wanted to post this link to show the type off effects vray allowed me to produce for the beam which you can see in the recent picture on deviant art.
It's a vray light material with a falloff map on both the opacity and colour.
Whoah even if I was paid for it I wouldn't find a single thing that's wrong with this ship ! :thumb: I absolutely love the fresh design and the mesh itself is perfect as well ! More more ! :shiner:
I've actually dropped this design from the official Children of Sol list, but I it didn't' go to waste as the guys over at Galactic Conquest commonisioned it to use on there site.

I think it's done. I'm totally knackered...
Let me know if you spot any errors, i'm going to sleep.

Hows this? It's not that close up though.
I'm not going to post the concept so it seems like a bit of a mystery as to what form this ship takes...
:flippy:
The ship is called Deccideon and it's a battlecruiser.
Didn't get as much done today as I would have liked, nevertheless its taking shape...
Nice work!

Anyway, here about 80% done...
Time to get back on track...
Is this an original design or based off something? It does remind me of the military ships from "The Fifth Element".
Anyway, more updates...
Didn't quite do as much as I hoped, oh well, maybe tomorrow.
What role does this ship fulfill?
The manufacturer, Amos Grey has a logistic's/freight heritage, I tried to show some of that through the design.
I've done some of the upper textures, any thoughts?
