Here is my Dark Mirror take on the U.S.S. Kelvin from the forth coming J.J.Abrams Trek movie. I have decided to blend the
TMP era with the JJ-Trek Era for my take on the Kelvin.

And honestly, that's what the ships look anyway with that ammount of detail in the movie!
Hm, strange. With the regular starships evil counterparts, one could feel it's terror-spreading darkness, but with that one it rather looks like a uber-bad evil monster-tug...........

very nice Sean. This ship is really starting to grow on me.
Form the official screen shoot realised the normal one looks like a war ship, as there looks like four weapons pod come out of the saucer.
Here is a tighter concept drawing of the Lancer Class Frigate that I am about to start on.
And Yes from the front and side she looks a little like a BSG Viper. On my original sketch it was supposed to be aviper and turned into this. The nacells expand out when in warp and retract when in sublight.

Here is another design that I sketched up while looking at on of my star Wars Titanium ships. (Droid Fighter) and from almost every angle
I looked at it I saw a starship minus the nacelles, So the Spartan class Heavy Cruiser was born.

if you are talking about the circles on his chest, those are just two of his accommodation medals
Hmm, while watching the DS9 series I had the opportunity to take a look at the "dark side", but in that series the imperium has been defeated since captains Kirks era, so this isn't really realistic, right?

If you may notice from the earlier posts from the beginning of this tread
this is a Alternate Mirror Universe loosely based off of the Novel "Dark Mirror"
from the late 80's before DS9's Mirror Episodes were even wrote.
In a way now it can be sorta part of the "Myriad Universes" like Pocket books
is currently doing.
In my "Dark Mirror" Universe the Terran Empire did not fall, infact the Terran
Empire got meaner. This is just a fun project of mine.
The only thing that ties into Pocket books besides my Luna Class is the
Fleet captain Sisko that I created after reading DS9's Fearful Symmetry.
