I am doing $10-$15 Commissions over on deviantart and here is the pencil work for my second commission for Kclcmdr from the Deviantart forums (his first commission was of Supergirl).
This time it was requested that I draw Empress Hoshi Sato.
It was to be a full color marker Commission, but I like how this is going so I will ink
and digitally color her with her on the Bridge of the Defiant.
I find the idea of the dark mirror side as described in this thread very interesting and I'm following it regularly, altought not commenting very often.
I wish you all here as well a marry Christmas and a happy new year.
Sorry they didn't go with your idea for the Aventine, though they are both really cool designs.
Happy New Year, everbody! *chugs Tranya*
Thanks, With all the shake up and S&S I will have to wait and see who they get to do her. I am sure the design will be great. I will just have to wait and see.
Well this may be may last drawing of 2008. I decided to
revisit Captain Tasha Yar of the I.S.S. Enterprise. Dark Mirro Universe of course. I plan on inking and coloring her.
I may even have her on the bridge of the I.S.S. 1701-D.
Captain Yar? So she survived the face-off with Armus?
What'd she do to him? Kick his slimy butt?
Nice, hot, and terrifying. The only nitpick I do have is that her nose looks a bit too broad and (maybe because it's yet uninked) in combination with the nose, she looks far too young (somewhat between 18-20).

Ricardo Mantalban, the 88-year old actor who portrayed Khan Noonien Singh on Star Trek, died today at his home in Los Angeles. AP has just reported that Matalban’s passing was announced by Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti. RadarOnline reports Matlablan died of natural causes.
~From Trekweb:
According to the Associated Press, actor Ricardo Montalban has died. He was 88.
Montalban played one of Star Trek greatest villains, Khan Noonien Singh, in the first season TOS episode "Space Seed".
Khan was a superhuman tyrant who once controlled more than a quarter of the Earth during the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s. After being revived in 2267 by the crew of the Enterprise, Khan attempts to capture the starship, but is thwarted by James T. Kirk and exiled to a harsh world to create a new civilization with his people. The character returns in the 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, set fifteen years after "Space Seed", in which Khan escapes his imprisonment and sets out to seek revenge upon Kirk.
From 1977 to 1984 Montalban starred as Mr. Roarke in the television series Fantasy Island. He won an Emmy Award in 1978, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild in 1993.

Who'd not like to be the Emperor there? ('Course with the proper security to make sure you'll stay in office long enough)
I like that last one, with the "red alert" look to it.
And Thanks
Though not so much in real life.
Very nice work Sean, I prefer the Non red alert version myself.

Hey, it's just credit where credit's due

Maybe she just aged better than the actor did.:D
I'm just 22.
This is Commander T'gil of the I.S.S. Enterprise. He is
the First Officer on the I.S.S. D.
I modeled him a little after Gil Gerard from Buck Roger fame.

BTW, as we're mourning about the death of Khan, any chance that you show us the (maybe even meaner) Khan of your Dark Mirror Universe?
Yes he is about to pounce a group of attackers.
As for a pick of Khan, I maybe able to come up with something.:D
