only glowing red? i thought they'd be hot enough to have their emission peak in the blue part of the spectrum atleast(if not somewhere in UV). great model.
Lovely shot, down to the dollop of violet/pink in the engine core (a visual I'm not fond of since the remastering, BUT you're faithful to the source material!!).
I'm quite impressed by the level of detail you're putting into this one, Chris. Keep up the good work.
Oh, and to restate the obvious - SF, how's about checking the source material first, eh? X-Wings have a red glow to their engine "exhausts." Heck, every fighter in the original three movies has red engine exhaust!
