It is great however the only difference i can see is that on those insets on the center section where the secondary insets are instead of being a round curve on the 1k one it has a hard corner where as the other one has a nice smooth rounded edge.
The section where the body bends upwards appears to be a bit thin, and it generally looks like it lacks some muscle strength... but still quite good as a general model...
The texturing is especially good.
I need opinions. Should I or should I not go with the new "wings" grafted to the trenchline? The cavities in them could serve as ship berths or something.
Haven't posted in forever, but I'm doing a re-work of the Bentusi Harbor Ship. (which will likely not be finished. -_-)

Derived some of the features from Halo 4 Forerunner styles. The Bentusi have been around forever, so I figured they wouldn't have wasted time and effort on nothing.

Great work repoducing it at a lower poly count
althou i dont know where you sticked 2M polies in the left box... shouldnt be more than 50k
L2K: I stuck the 2M in turbosmooth, to allow a more curved shape appear on the panels.
And in Maya too!
Can anyone guess what this goes to?
I am planning on sculpting and rigging the beast.
This is my first ever attempt at sculpting in mudbox, EVER by the way.
Sculpted.
Textured.
Rigged.
Animated.
Composited.
BY ME!!!

The concept, sound, and music all belong to Blizzard!
EDIT:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQFEY9RIRJA
2,096,552 polys to sculpt by the way, and possibly a subdivision or two to add.
The texturing is especially good.
I forgot to mention I used the Ptex method of texturing. for the Hydralisk.
Nice work.
So far it's better than my original by a longshot.
Are you gonna do an Animation from this guy?
Cheers!
Cool. (Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on since july.)
Nice work on the Hydras as well.
What I am aiming at is a re-imagined look of the Star Wars universe. Similar to the idea with Battlestar, but with Star Wars! Hate me if you must...
Oh, and I got some of the engine block done...
EDIT: The chute door is also rigged for animation!
For those who didn't figure it out, it's supposed to be Megatron's left Eye
