I like the radomes on the ends better than in the middle, but it does make me wonder: what do they radiate? Do you have to leave the radiation shields active on the miners in order not to fry the crew while they're docked?
They really do look amazing, bro... there's so much neat stuff on this forum, but the ability to actually go into the ship and look around... that's pretty special.
I haven't been on the meshes boards since you started this thread. I just wanted to say, it looks great. You've come a long way since your first concept.
Very cool, you're really showing off how great these panoramas can look. Only issue with this one is where is the primary light source? You have a nearby blue star to represent the blue fill light, but there is no in system sun to represent where the warmer primary light source is coming from.

the sun is actually behind the ship on top.... I did think about rearranging it so you could see it.

Ahhh right, that explains it, yeah, might be a good idea to shift it so the main light source is at least partially visible, upper ship would look epic with the sun and associated Rays might even make the lighting look even more dramatic and cool than it looks now.

Here's something a little different I started today, A creepy tree done in Scuptris. It's for a competition over on the Octane site
here it is in the Pano viewer:
Not out of the woods yet...

Pirates on parade!

Here are a few test images for different processes
Tinkering with displacement maps on the skin of the FTL ship:
Then added some image manipulation with a free App called FotoSketcher
Also did some tests with DAZ:

Let me know what y'all think!
Everything is looking really good. I like the bump mapping on the FTL ship.
LOL - He got caught with his pants down....
FotoSketcher is very easy to use. You get a side-by-side view, a before and after of what the effect will do.
Select the basic effect then manipulate a few sliders - done!
