Nice, but... what are the light sources?
  • TALON_UKTALON_UK2 Posts: 0Member
Like that a lot, very cool utilitarian look to the environment. Nice use of DOF effects too.

    :thumb:

BlueNeumann, the lighting is coming from those light fittings on the walls, the rods with a downward and upward facing lights. There also looks to be another light source above the ceiling grille in that second shot.

I concur with TALON_UK, it looks great and I like the DOF effect you have going on. :thumb:

yeah, the lighting is from the "handrail" lights and from the ceiling and floor grid work

Here is a couple more renders

    With "artificial" lighting (light bulbs)

The "artificial" lighting looks more realistic for an enclosed space in space, in my opinion. :)

That looks really good. The materials are nice and the lighting isn't overdone or particularly "sourcy." It looks very welcoming.

Ah, the "big exterior pipes" trope. Nice.
  • TALON_UKTALON_UK2 Posts: 0Member
Cool, the pipes need some form of detailing to give them a true sense of scale though, I guess that is next on your agenda? Looking good.

That's a mighty big gun for an environment as fragile as shipboard!

Interesting design and good execution so far. I like how, aside from the nose, the profile does look like the molidae.

Very interesting design going on. It feels similar to an imperial shuttle fused with a t wing.
  • TALON_UKTALON_UK2 Posts: 0Member
I like it, a few interesting and familiar shapes going on there, but also feels pretty unique too weirdly enough. Be interesting to see where you go with this one.

Thanks Guys, I was looking to do something a little different, more Sci-Fi Fantasy, more of a nod to John Berkey maybe, not sure if I hit the right note but I like the start.

Nice, liking it so far. The vertical orientation works well for the design and immediately tells us that this is spaceborne craft.

    Love these shots!

Very much a fan of the industrial set dressing.
