These are actually the third rebuild of the spine/neck, sensor wing, and secondary hull. Getting better each time. Still need to finish the geometry on the secondary hull, but it's coming along nicely.
Lots of changes since the last update.
remodeled the deflector, spine, and did some fiddling with shaders on the nacelles and impulse engine.
The panels on the saucer and spine were just practice.

I need to learn how to do nacelles like that with the lighting (on/off effect).
It's stupid simple!
The bussard and grille are using the same shader setup, the only difference is the translucence color. Then I just have a bit of geometry behind those with an emissive shader. To get the powered/unpowered look all I do is hide or unhide the emissive meshes. Same for the impulse engine, but that has an additional transparent grid texture.
