Lovely photographs. I made the switch from a simple compact to a Canon EOS 7D which was a bit risky but was worth it. I couldn't go back to to comapact cameras now that I have tasted what it is like to have a digital slr, with all the lovely settings and quality. :D

With regards to 'Weekender February 2011. Dance group (I forget the name)' it looks a lot like the Glow Bot what was in the Syndicate Nightlcub Blackpool (but it is now closed down now) : Here is a video of them : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqR8-k-Fufo

Photography is more addictive than drugs! :D

    Thanks :D

I used to use a small compact camera and was quite happy with it for a long while. Then i borrowed a film SLR  Took me a few years before i managed to get my hands on my Canon 1000D (I'll have to tweak that little typo in the first post).

the dance group photo do look like the same group in your link.

EDIT- I asked my mate who went with me that weekend who they were, he said they were called 'Area 51'

some of the images in the first post were taken during a church youth trip to Dorset. As you may notice there is a lack of youths in the images, this was down to not having permission to show the image i wanted to that included any of the youths.....

After forgetting ( roflmao  ) i finally got around to getting that permission....
