Wow, Tobias, great work! Any chance of an HQ download of the video?

Thanks for all your nice comments - feels good :D

Jonny - check out the vimeo link. At the bottom right side is a link for download of the full 1280x720 quicktime file. You have to be a vimeo member, but all that takes just an email address. The Youtube stuff should also show up as HD.

Just came back from FedCon. It was a huge success, and I think the crowd liked the animation. It ran on the opening ceremony - right before they showed 20 minutes of the movie :thumb:

    Hope you like it!
    Tobias

All I can say is super super kick-a** job! You should be proud! I'm sure it looked great at the conference!

I'm downloading the HD version now to watch it again!

That was pretty darn sweet, I dug the intro shot of the Kelvin, and you did the phase turret effect wonderfully. I also dig the design of the alien attackers.

I also dig the Enterprise's torpedo effect and sound, it seemed casual, as if it doesn't care, brushes off the attackers.

Awesome work, man. I can just imagine the cheers when this baby started.

Oh man, I just got home and watched this on my 52'' at 720p. It was incredible. I think he could have done all the real movie effects shots himself. :)

Tobias, you always impress. Great work!

Are you realy shure that you arent contracted to do the animations of the jjtrek movie?

That was a very good CGI sequence Tobias.
That barrage of gunfire from the Kelvin is quite intimidating.
And Your New E looks darn good too in action.
    Nice Job.

Just watched the animation via an embed on the trekmovie site. Tobias, I am staggered by what you created. The beauty shots of both the Kelvin and the Enterprise mixed with those action sequences are simply superb. And all of that set inside the rings of a planet, to boot. Excellent, excellent work. So darn wonderful to watch. You're a true craftsman. I hope the audience at the convention loved it.

Ah, yes, totally missed that. I went directly to Youtube, and didn't even check out the Vimeo page. Thanks. :fishslap:

The new trailer for the arcade game has shots of the Enterprise from the movie, more than any other movie trailer.

New angles of the ship, coming out of warp effect and firing all phasers.

That video was incredible. I just hope I'm not disappointed in the movie effects, after seeing yours, when I go see the movie this saturday.

I think I may still have some of your old Amiga work hidden on floppy disks somewhere. :)

I see the new film. Your Ship is absolutely equal to the one in the film!
    Tobias you are THE MASTER

I think he's been challenged to do a new anim with the pulsed' phasers...

And I so like this! I thought I'd hate it!

And the in-movie dodge of 'Alternate Reality?' ... Woot.

I think the crowd liked the animation.

If they did not, they are tasteless plebs with no taste, and I shall be obliged to slap them. Like so: :fishslap:

    Seriously, though. That was fan-tas-tic!

It is amazing. I see the JJtrek film and Tobias yours is better!
Better organized, beatifull images. The warp effect is much more resolved and the movement of the Ship appears much more real.

Tobias did you pretend to release this ship one day?

    Please!
