As some of you may have known I have been working with the folks over at hiddenfrontiers.com
creating their new starship Federation One for the new series Operation Beta Shield.
I have been given permission finally to post concept sketches as well as a couple promo shots of her here.
I plan of posting them here tomorrow (Hopefully). So keep a watch for them.
Well it has almost been a years since I started on this project, and now
I am aloud to show the concept sketches and schematics I created for
Star Trek Hidden Frontiers newest adventure Beta Shield and Federation One
coming out this year

A good name for this class of Starship would be Citadal Class or Grand Alliance Class Starship...Have one specificaly for the Starfleet equivalent of the Joint Chief's of Staff...I came up with the name from a published technical fan book sold at Star Trek conventions also from a kitbashed Starship I've seen on line...Either way, sweet job and design.
Great work, as always! I especially like the section that's sticking out at the rear on the saucer -- looks like some kind of observation deck for really classy diplomatic receptions.
I always loved ships that remind people of the diplomatic/exploring side of Starfleet, rather than another blow-the-crap-out-of-evrything super-ship. Not that blow-the-crap-out-of-evrything super-ships aren't without their own charms.
Hee. I bet the mirror version of Federation One is 10 km long, with 500 phaser banks mounted on black iron spikes.:devil:
The Terran Empire main ship can be Imperial One while the smaller vessel can be called Centurion.
The Federation couterpart being Federation One the smaller upper vessel should be caller Starfleet One, much like the helocopter that transports the U.S. President from the White House is called Marine One.
You all knew this was coming, I had to do a Dark Mirror version of Federation One. So I now introduce Imperial One.
Since the Time of Empress Sato I and the discovery of the warship Defiant,
every starship used as the Imperial Seat while off the Terran home world
has downed the name Defiant in honor of that great warship.
Also Dubbed Imperial One when ever the Imperial Ruler is on board.
Imperial One is armed with its own armada of craft.
She is equipped with:
Nine Shuttles and Two Runabouts housed in her two primary shuttle bays.
Ten Warp Fighters that launch out of tubes above the primary deflector.
Three Heavy Warp Fighters house on the under side of the saucer section.
One Scarab Class Scout the is docked above the saucer section.
She is armed with:
Ten Quantum Torpedo Launchers, Forward and Aft Phasers
Ablative Armor, Multi Phasic Shields and has a sustained
Maximum warp speed of 9.975
Nice Job on the Dark Universe Imperial One. That ship looks like it could do some serious damage! Since the Presidents Private craft is the Scarab Class in the Dark Universe. Is the Federation One Presidents Private craft a Scarab Class in the Star Fleet Universe?

No as you can see on the Federation One Post it is more of a Defiant class on Crack.
The folks over at Hidden Frontier did not name the class of either ship.
All I do know, is the Federation One is supposed to be a One of a kind
Ship, but as for the diplo pod, there is more than one of them.
In the Dark Mirror Universe I see Imperial One as just one of many craft simular.
The other starships of that class won't have the Rollbar.
I think I will call their class the Conquerer Class.
They will have variants. So will have weapons pods, some won't have the
launch tubes. And a few will have a multi vector mode ala Prometheus.:devil:

Since the first one will deliver the boss to planetary surface (as the AF-1 does by now, aye?).
