Well, mostly completed anyways.
Pardon the long absence, but as you will see, I have been busy.
First, a light tank. Parts of it is lacking shading/details in some areas, but you can at least tell what it would look like. This was nonetheless some great practice in regards to speed-sketching/coloring.
The main chain gun is a nod to the Shadow Fox from Zoids, while the colors are based a little bit on the old school Blue Zoids.
One of my first attempts at architecture design, as part of an interview process. Some sort of fusion power plant I think. The exhausts on the four corners vent excess heat.
The darker side was never finished, and lacks the windows and sensors of the side facing closest, but this was only meant to be finished quickly as a test run.
A small semi truck that I worked on as part of a job interview process, and probably one of my best works to date. I applied pretty much everything that I knew about coloring and shading up to this point.
In the end, this version was rejected, as it was determined that a joined truck/tank would be better.
A variant version of the semi. The tank section is joined directly to the truck itself. Its supposed to be a future truck, and probably carries some sort of frozen hydrogen slurry for fuel cells.
The spoiler at the end of the cabin is a tip of the hat to the spoiler on the Blade Liger.
Client wanted a longer version, and so I tripled the length! I almost forgot to mention the equipment locker that I originally added to the compact version.
Turns like the Titanic, but delivers your desired liquids in bulk!
I tried to go all out with the shading and lighting, because I still feel that this is a weakness on my part. I even added ladders, although I should have added access hatches of some kind too, even if they wouldn't have shown up after turning it into a sprite!
Pretty happy with how it came out, and the whole design process took less than a week to complete!
