I'm now getting SOME free time. I'm still pretty tired, but I've started yet another insane project. The USS Enterprise from Where No Man Has Gone Before, the second Star Trek pilot ship.
It's just a start.

It's a great start.
Yeah. Quite a bit higher.
Looking great Eric.
Yeah, the last four months for anyone in medicine or in para-medicine (I'm NOT a doctor, just a computer guy who works for hospitals) has probably been either waiting to go back to their jobs, or like me, busier than they've ever been.
It's nice to work on something for FUN again. Thank you! Oh yes, very much so. Gary Kerr (notable starship historian) has even released some quite EXCELLENT drawings of the various bridge sizes. I'm using that illustration as a guide. You are correct on the height of the bridge. And thank you for the very kind words! Thanks! I probably went a tad overboard on that, but I really do like how it looks. I appreciate your very kind words!

Uh, holy ####! Thank you, Chris! That's VERY kind of you!
Thank you, my friend.
Now, on to the rest. (Maybe I'll do the Impulse Engines next ...)
Already the angular variant or as in the pictures below only with rounds?
Nice mesh !
Thank you evil_genius_180! I really appreciate your encouraging words! The impulse is to have a quality mesh!
In this case, the impulse engines are the ones with the round "rocket" exhausts, to be reminiscent of the model used in Where No Man Has Gone Before!
Thank you!
All done in Blender 3D.
Thank you, Chris! I appreciate your encouragement!
Now working on the engineering hull.
All done in Blender 3D, of course.
All done in Blender 3D, of course. The last image shows how that side shot was set up.
And thank you, evil_genius_180! I appreciate your kind words of encouragement!
