I like it! What's the nose notch for?

Sleek looking little thing, I'll be interested to see what you do with the nacelles.

Nice start. I like this type of design. :)

The inspiration of the two is very clear. Nice work.

I don't know yet... :D:D I think maybe can be a secondary deflector like in Nova Class or just sensors.

I'll probably do the nacelle similar like the one I used in USS Dumont

I like a design like that for the nacelles, it goes well with the sleek look of the ship. Though, I'd angle them. (I'm not presumptuous enough to say what you should do, but that's what I'd do)

Hi Evil, don't worry suggestions are always welcome, is always good have a second opinion. I rotate a bit the nacelles, is this way which you suggested?
Reminded a little the style of nacelles of the Interceptor class, but I like that .

Yes, that's what I had in mind.

I dig the overall design here, but I don't know how I feel about the pylons. They just seem too large for the ship. Slimming them down (or making them the same diameter throughout) might help, or perhaps just scaling them down about 25% might look better.

What design program do you use?

    Looks good Laercio!
My niptick is about the pylons. Looks a bit strange where it connect to the nacelle.
I think these designs can give you an idea to improve the pylons:

Hi guys, I'm also not very satisfied with appearance of pylons but i did not want to do something very light because I want a appearance more aggressive in the ship.
I am thinking of doing something like this.
LockeFP I use the 3ds Max

    Blz Cassio?
Nacelles are still provisional. I just put them as a reference, so the pylons does not fit very well. I'll still model the nacelles and probably redo the pylons
    Thanks for references I like a lot.:thumb:

Hi guys, believe I have found a very nice setting for the pylons. Well at least for me:D

    More some details.
I was thinking in calling the ship of U.S.S. Roda, but maybe I switch for U.S.S. Nimoy.
    What do you think?

Awesome little ship. Never thought about what a Starfleet Bird-of-Prey would look like, but this is definitely it. :)

I've seen a couple Starfleet bird of prey designs over the years. Though, they many times tend to look too Klingon or Romulan, unlike this. It still looks Starfleet. :)

Awesome, really looks like a high warp speeder in my eyes. Everything looks great so far, but I would leave away the lower small pylons, I think they are redundant and break with the rest.

The new pylons looks much better. About the name, sounds like a cool homage. :)

Hi, I did just a bit more details. I modeled the bridge, the phasers and some details in the pylons.

Now that is a swift looking ship! I'm really liking the greebles on there. Are you using some script to get that?

And you might want to check the registry on the nacelles: it doesn't match the saucer.:thumb:
  • evil_genius_180evil_genius_1804616 Posts: 11,188Member
The nacelles are from a different model and only temporary.

Looking great, Medjai. I really like the details. Also, great choice for the name.

HI LockeFP, I'm not using scrip for the greebles I'm modeling manually. The nacelles just are references, they are of another ship that I modeled.
