pub: unfortunately I am not using anyone else's ideas except for the multitude of sketches Doug gave me, right now the main saucer's shell is done and in Doug's inbox for approval, this is a canon ship and as such still has to unfortunately go through the entire approval process at each step.. I am making, for lack of a better term, the definitive mesh of the ship that will be used whenever she has to make an appearance, mine is for all technical purposes "the ship" So while I appreciate being sent here there and everywhere, and on most projects I do look at how other people did things, on this one i have a very tight bit of constraints that I have to work within, heck the support ship's nacelles were about a meter too thick and the whole ship was scrapped, if that tells you anything..
