3DStar Wars Imperial Walker AT-AT

Well I'm on a major Star Wars buzz at the moment. I finished with my tie fighter model and moved on to the AT-AT. I've been working on it for a month or 2 on and off so progress has been slow. I've been using a number of different reference models and movie stills. I got a bit distracted with some detailing work but I need to move on and get the bulkly stuff started like main body and legs which I hope to start this week. I just had to model them front cannons!!!

    It was an old Amiga demo of an AT AT that got me interested in computer graphics many years ago. I've only started modelling myself over the past year or so.

    oh dear it looks like everyone missed the tie fighter, shame because it's very nice looking

    good start on this, I've done one of these myself, it's a cool model

    I had the same thought when I looked at the thread. It's always a shame when someone's work "flies under the radar."

    'tis been slow progress. started doing the neck section and blocked out the body. i hope to make some major inroads into this in the next few days!

    Looking great man. Very keen to see this bad boy keep taking shape. And I'd also like to add my voice to the chorus of praise for/ regret at missing your TIE. That was some very cool work indeed.

    started working on the rear section as well as the transmission and legs. next steps 1) bumper sticker 2) personalised licence plate
