amazing designs, its like taking homeworld to the next level, really amazing work, how big is this thing? some figures or size relations would be nice

I think paneling would hurt the organic flow of the thing. At most, slap a Vorlon- or Shadow-esque texture on the skin but don't panel it. Nobody would make a form like this out of assembled sheets of handwavium--the patching of battle damage alone would drive the supply clerks nuts!
More importantly, it would hurt the lines of the thing. Logistics and realism aside, the hull looks better in this smooth, "grown metal" format than it would if you paneled it.

I like that small vessel that you based on your Vaeyate.... Reminds me to Homeworld 2.... The Hiigaran fighters.

Looks like Leik Myrabo's laser lightcraft.
Something that might interest you--a way to do surface detail
I wonder if--instead of mouths--torpedo tubes, phaser banks, windows--impulse ports--if these could be used for DeepDreaming
O/T if only FASA had this http://www.spacedaily.com/reports/Printing_metal_in_midair_999.html
