As it is the new year I have started a new model, seem like a good idea:D so here is what I'm modeling.
Ragnar Anchorage.
I had started modeling this before but the file has been corrupted so I had to start again:( never mind.

@ yoda:- I have now redone those parts and thanks for the pics they will come in very handy:D
@ Freak:- I have been meaning to get back to this model for a long time and now I remember why I stopped in the first place ( dam thing is very complicated to get right ) but I will finish it this time around:D
@Freak:- all I did to make my penal's was to extrude a small section of the surface of mesh out a little and then scale it down from 1 to .98 and there you have a single penal:D there are proberly better ways to make penal's but for this it works great:D

I think the docking hub at the top needs to be larger and the four plates located at the bottom should be thinner width wise.
It might be a good idea to create 2 versions of this ... one in perfect condition and other damaged?

Here is A small update for you.
I have added panels to each section and have started working on the lower part of the stations details:D
Here is a render of the hole station.
Here is a close up render of the paneled sections.
