Well, after an emergency motherboard transplant and several windows installs, I'm back up and running again. So, finished the back of the bridge tower, finally. Here are some shots:

Also how do you create all the armour? do you chop up the base beneath the armour and extrude or do u just create seperate plates for the armour?
To try and keep this on the first page, today's work. I actually detailed a fair bit more of that flat counter under the main engine bank before I remembered that half of it would be covered. Oh well, more detail for the other blank spots...
Can I please say for the record, that every post from Fractalsponge that has an image in it, is the visual definition of the term 'utterly mind-blowing great sex'.
This is great. Love the details. One question. In the top pic the small engine on the bottom left looks like it has something going through it (at the back of the engine). Would that be left over from the basic ship frame you attached the engine to?
