This is a shot from a test animation i did a while ago.

I was making some troopers and thought i'd also make this guy as he had such a funky helmet.

Looks like a low poly character ripped from republic commando.

For some reason my first comment isn't showing up, so I'll say it again.

This really could do with some work, it looks like a low poly game model, very jaggy polygons visible on the head.

    Andrew i love constuctive critisisim.

Low poly yes, for a few reasons.

    1. Coming from a gaming background i model basic shapes first, i find it easier to add polys than remove them.

    2. The test animation i did this for, required several hundred troopers running into battle in one shot, so all the clone troopers i made started out low poly so my machines could render the animation.

    3. Commander Bacara was only ever going to be seen in full shot, this was a quick render to see if the armour looked good, or not..

I glad everybody else liked it.

This charcter really stuck with me from the film, even though he's only in it for around 4 seconds. I'll be coming back to this work soon and i'll be posting the results..
