It is kind of funny how the whole stingray shaped stealth thing started in WWII not as a stealth technology but as a way of making aircraft efficiently out of plywood to conserve Germany's dwindling supply of aluminum and someone noticing that they did not show up as well on radar regardless of whether they were made of wood or metal.
