Just a quick suggested layout for bridge stations, since this is a "warship":

Positioned First Officer at a side station close to the Captain. Easier access to the rest of the bridge, being able to turn and face either viewscreen or Captain, as well as standing up and holding onto the rail.

Engineering on opposite side of the bridge from the First Officer, close access to the Turbolift, and similar access to turning and facing the viewscreen or Captain.

Positioned Mission Ops I and II at the aft stations. These two stations make sense to keep together, and with there only being 2 stations in the back, it seemed to fit well here.

Positioned Helm and Tactical at Forward stations (similar to Star Trek: Bridge Commander). Tactical on this bridge makes more sense here, rather than being a side or aft station, facing away from whatever danger is close.

Operations likewise makes more sense along the side stations, with more and larger displays for information. Same goes for Science on the opposite side of the bridge.

Lastly, in lieu of additional science stations (which are more prevalent on ships like the Intrepid or Galaxy classes), a dedicated warship would want dedicated stations for Damage Control and Environmental.

It looks cool. Doesn't matter if it "feels" more fitting for the Mirror Universe. More touches that relate to the name of the ship makes sense, regardless of universe.

Let's redesign the CTRL+PASTE...I mean the Hoover....I mean the Inquiry class from Picard

Redesign is definitely better. I'd lower the nacelles a bit to make it more in line with the saucer, but other than that it's definitely the version they should've gone with onscreen.

This is how you reboot the TOS Connie, without going full JJprise, and while still maintaining the same "feel" and proportions of the original.

    Well done! 😎

Only one line comes to mind after viewing this image:
And like a thousand other commanders on a thousand other battlefields, I wait for the dawn.

@darkthunder - Well, it's Rekkert's call on this one, he can do it as he wishes.
Might want to re-read my post?

    "Okay, suggestion time..."

Never said he must do it according to my above edit. Of course he does it however he see's fit. It was merely... a suggestion!

Really liking the cinematic feel of these most recent screenshots. The design is definitely growing on me, a lot more than the game version ever did.

I suggested earlier, a possible registry number change to "fit canon". Made a short list of plausible Odyssey Class ships, and their likely numbers:

NCC-85050 USS Odyssey (first ship of the class)
    NCC-85051 USS Iliad
    NCC-85052 USS Homer
    NCC-85053 USS Alexander (your ship)

NCC-97000 USS Verity (Admiral Picard's ship)

Goodness gracious... Loving the sleek lines of this Ambassador reboot. Feels even more of a mix of Enterprise(s) that came before it, especially that impulse deck. Only thing really missing is one of those impulse deflection crystals.

Would love to see this as a 3D model. And to borrow an expression from another universe: Love those ample nacelles :)

I am NOT the one who decided to politicize a scifi TV show and I'm pretty sure regardless of one's political perspective the average Trek fan doesn't want it in the show.
For someone griping so much about the so-called "left wing woke bs" in modern day Trek shows, clearly never paid attention to the OLD day Trek shows. Or have you conveniently forgotten about the "black on the left side, white on the right side" aliens of TOS, or Kirk and Uhura's infamous kiss etc. Flash forward to TNG, and you have the controversial "Code of Honor" episode, Riker courting a Genaii "female" as an allegory to transgenders, Jadzia and Lenara's kiss in DS9 etc.

Politics has been a part of Trek since the very start. If you have an issue with politics in Trek, you have an issue with Trek. I'd suggest walking away and finding some other form of entertainment devoid of political involvement. Trek has always had, and always will have political allegory to modern day issues. When done right, it can be extremely satisfying (Guinan and Picard's chat regarding slavery in Measure of a Man comes to mind).

Impressive work as always. Love the look and feel of this engine room. Suitable for smaller ships, not just Saber classes. I'd imagine something similar on a Steamrunner or Norway class.

One suggestion I have, is maybe adding a "Warp diagnostic assembly" or two to the handrail around the core, similar to the one
seen in Voyager? (from episode 'Concerning Flight' in Voyager's 4th season)
