Well regarding the little shuttle, this was the original inspiration for it, which was some concept sketch from the original trilogy for the Imperial Shuttle...

From that I made this version...

Which I then rebuilt as the latest version in the post above. Talon I thought about putting a standard TIE type windshield in there, and even built a version with it, but it looked too much like a TIE Bomber kitbash to me, plus I didn't want to eliminate completely the bulb cockpit, although I have strayed quite a bit from it.

Now regarding the AT-AT transport, here's some ideas I'm kicking around...

Thanks! Yeah, I hadn't added in the racks yet only because I wanted to research them a bit more, but information on those seems pretty scarce, so I based these on a version I saw in one of Fractals hangars (also I didn't want to zoom in on my crappy TIE's lol). I figure I'd be pretty safe basing it off of his work lol. I still want to add in some elevators and wall greebles etc..

    Nonsense, your ships are awesome!

Here's an update size comparison chart. The Imperator was modeled after a toy by Hasbro, so those dimensions might be a little off from canon dimensions but I think it's still a good representation of the movie model (the toy, not necessarily my model).

Well, I took another crack at the conning tower, hopefully it seems simpler. Got a little more greeble work done here and there, still lots to do...

Taking a little break from the Tormentor and started putting this Imperial Light Cruiser together. Mostly just using parts from the Tormentor which really speeds things along, for me anyway lol....

Thanks dude! I had the day off today and was hoping to get a lot of work done on it but as fate would have it my external hard drive died (where I keep all my models etc.). So I spent the day recovering data in small bits and pieces at a time, but fortunately I didn't lose anything other than time. So here's about a half hours instead of a whole day. I lowered the panels so they don't appear so stark, kinda dominated everything else. I still have to work on the greebles to give this a better sense of scale, which is what I wanted to do today lol...

I have, for the umpteenth time, completely started over from scratch with this! Well almost completely, I imported my old globes (to some these are sensors, to others they are deflectors) and sensor parts from the bridge structure. But everything else is new. I'm trying to take my time and build greebles rather than just build a box and use a greeble plug-in on it. So far I have kept this plug-in free... I've changed the hull quite a bit, the engines hanging off the bottom are gone but otherwise the basic shapes are still there, albeit refined a bit, it's not quite so flat and wide as the previous version. Here's some pics and there's more at the website

I realised earlier that part of the problem is that the hull is too flat. If you look at pictures of a Venator or an Imperial Star Destroyer you'll see that apart from the plating and all the little bumps, whole sections of the hull are one or two "floors" higher than the rest. Maybe that's what's missing :)

I knew what you meant, and that's what I meant by lots of work still to do, lol. And yes, Fractalsponge is the undisputed master of star destroyers ;)

    Meanwhile back at the ranch...

I did a little updating and redesigning my old Prowler shuttle, this isn't the AT-AT transport I was talking about, but something smaller than the Lambda shuttle (I really hate that name, seems too trekish for Star Wars). I figure this is something the lower ranks cram into to get between bases and ships.
