That's such a nice looking model, thanks for the better lit pics. It looks much better than what was in the movie, in my opinion.

I agree. I too wasn't a fan of the shop from the film. Trekki's version is much better IMO.

If you wanna, you can play around with it yourself! I might need to update it with some interiors though...

Yes, digging it. Would make for a fine model... Initial sketch produced the attached file. I think this flows a bit better; that angular 'secondary' hull gives it a clunky feeling that doesn't really fit the Galaxy family. IMHO, ofcourse...

  • Lost, but found

Aquapod DSV-01 makes its way to the recently discovered wreckage of an old Paris class vessel, where a base is being set up to research its demise. Seeing as the last time Starfleet had contact with the vessel was over 180 years ago, they're very interested in knowing why it's in a relatively good condition. Was the craft here all that time, or did it wound up on the bottom of this Class M's planet ocean later?

I think I'm not a fan of the deflector-hull (by lack of a better term). The front itself is nice, the hull itself a but less IMHO.

But those nacelles, especially, rock. It's got a bit of a Klingon design vibe going on, so pitching this as a joint Klingon-Federation design would work pretty well. That spoiler is loads of fun as well! If you can find a way to let it rise just above bridge-level, it's a pretty good spot to put... well, whatever in it; be it weapons, sensors or a cloaking device. I like this!
