    Yeah that's actually what I ended up thinking in the back of my mind...maybe a sign of the times...so I sorta ran with that idea of the Vulcans sharing technology and kinda imagining a Starfleet Skunk Works type of agency, making one-off ships trying out new things in the Excelsior era while messing with transwarp drive...

    Ok I've been busy with life and stuff, but finally sat down and blasted through some greebles and made some serious headway. The Raider is suprisingly tricky! Lots of odd angles and shapes... mostly the laser area and panels lines left to be done...

    Had to make a video of my Enterprise-B model going to warp! Took a little artistic liberty since I don't think the nacelles light up for warp in the movies, but in DS9 they are lit all the time, so I imagined they lit up to go to warp, like the Enterprise does in the movies.
