Hello, at last I finished this model a couple of days later. There is an electric circuit inside which turns on with a magnet. I understand that painting is a bit strange, but that's my view angle I guess..

It's your model, you can paint it however you want.
Nice job on the build, it looks good. The lighting is very nice too.
