    Well, this is done. You might notice the Enterprise looks a lot different from 1:09 onward, it's because I worked on the materials settings, etc. to get them to look more like the remastered version.

    It'll be a few days before I start on my next animation, which it likely be the FX from "The Loss" with the 2-dimensional beings, the cosmic string, etc. very simple episode, but nevertheless, as I'm going to work on the bussards, to see if I can get them looking better.

    Seems like at :30 you'd get some orange bounce light from the planet, not pitch black lighting.

    Yea, that was purposeful. ;)

    Even the actual remastered episode had it.

    That last one seems too dark in some parts. Nice work though.

    haha. How? I mean, as they say, imitation is the highest form of flattery. I'm not sure how I could improve on it, aside from changing camera angles and lighting...

    Yea, I worked on the lighting, GI and texturing towards the end, so everything from 1:09 onward has a different appearance than before, but if I do another TOS video, it'll be practically consistent all the way through.
