  unusual but could be interesting. if both of the parts of that image show the same station it must be quite an unusual shape or having moving parts. when it is complete will parts still be separated like that or will thy all be connected together?

  No moving parts, all elements will be connected. I'm not finished with the layout yet, that's why I didn't add in all the connecting pieces.

  I've seen that ring-type station before (there's a low-res image in my reference/inspiration folder). It's a beautifully simple design.
