    PLEASE KIT THIS! :)

Looks like a good start sir... i suck at scratch building plastic models.. cant score a panel line to save my life, and forget about miroring it on the opposite side! :) Envious....

question.. what kind of putty do you use for seam filling? always on the lookout for what other people use :)

A little more progress. It's made so a shuttlebay can go in the rear, but I don't think we've ever seen what the rear shuttlebay looks like on the Ent E.

This is awesome. Is this purely personal or will you eventually be selling a kit of this model?

There will be kits available through Starship Modeler.

Cool. 1/1000 is a good scale for me due to available space. :)

if it even turns out 1/2 as good as your large one did, it will be amazing!

    Thanks everyone, here's an update.

To make the indented windows, I placed window masks on the smooth hull.

Then after several coats of primer, removed the masks.

Very awesome! Is there someplace where you can learn this stuff? I think I would enjoy 3D modeling just as much as CG modeling. Also, you're version looks a lot better than the AMT model that I have. See, I don't get how AMT does things. For instance, they can put windows on the engineering section of the Enterprise A, but not on the saucer? The list goes on and on. Anyway, just want to say, much jealously from me. :eek!:

This is so cool. Very eager to see how it turns out. Everyone on here does amazing work but it's a whole other thing to be able to hold it in your hand and inspect it from all angles and pretend it's flying around the room when you're sure that no one's looking.

oh.. thats a neat trick with the windows!

    looking Very sweet!

and BlueNeumann.. you can have your computer models printed out... then fly them around the room :)

Sweet. I love the level of detail you've got. Some 1/1000 scale models don't have enough for my taste. I also like that you have the windows in there. I hate that PL has gone to not including those anymore, they're all decals now.

Gotta start saving my pennies. So reminds me of the brass Ent D I used to have. Short version: let it out of my hands and was stolen. I want to learn your craft to replace it. It was called 1/1000, but was 27". Beautiful piece.

I'm working on the decals, they will cover the entire ship, only a small amount of painting will be required. I want it to look like you're holding a 3d CG ship, lol.
