I recently finished building the Workbee.
As there are attachments that add on to the this craft so that it can be used in mulitiple rolls.
I wanted to model them so I can stick them into a pic, instead of just having the same workbee in different directions doing nothing.
Frist up is the Arms.
Here I am only partly following canon desgin mainly with the shape. The details will be my own.
Here is just a few hours work not much. on it own and attached the Workbee.

No need to add engine pods. This workbee has a set of impluse engines.
you can see this here.
The arms does cover the rear RCS on the bottom and maybe the front once the rest of the arm is in place. So I will have to do something with them.
I will need to build a new set of engine for the version that carries the cargo pods as the impluse engines on the workbee would be blocked by the cargo containers. But I will tackle that when I get there.

Now it just to add more detail to it.
This will be cable and the likes and some hull panels. I also need to work on the back of the attahcment pod as this is plan at the moment.
Yeah it does look a bit like them. But then it is the best design so no doubt when we build this sort of craft for real they will have simular arms.
Anyway. I have now finihsed the modelling on the arms just need to start the textuering of her.
I have gone for a dirtier look for this. Reason being it that it would get cover in crap for the work it does.
The Wrokbee would also get cover in crap but it would be cleaned up, while the arms would not be cleaned as often.
I am now looking for some good references of the cargo containers used in Trek. Though I most likely go with my own design.
