Just curious the shot of the bio lume visible from orbit brought back some memories of a similar shot I did on that movie. (I don't remember if that shot made it to the movie or not.)

And... sorry about the horn blowing, there. Your artwork reminded me of something I worked on for quite a while, trying to make the bio luminescence visible from orbit. I had forgotten about it because it didn't make it to the screen. (It *might* be on the DVD somewhere, tho.)
What do you mean by "livable moons", and who is saying they are impossible?
A moon thats that close to a gas giant like that would be being warped like hell from the tilde forces from the gas giants gravity, if there was a livable moon it would have to be a lot further away, around the same size as earth and at the correct distance from the sun. So it would not look like that in the pics ive done
So those particular moons in your art. Okay, I'm with you on that. I play around in Celestia and agree a moon has to be pretty damn close for the giant to truly dominate its sky.
