Nice. The back wheels don't look like they are connected to the body of the APC. Is that just the angle?
I built the model years ago and never painted it. Kind of looks like this but you built yours better. No fingerprints in the glue
Thanks, I made them in Photoshop. Just overlayed the gren/grey base colour with a mask on top of a metal rusty type texture then just blacked out the parts of the mask I didn't want so the metal rust texture showed through. Probably should of went with a higher resolution texture for the body but it looks okay...a pen tablet comes in very handy!
Here's a couple more quick renders....I still need to play around with the lighting but textures are about 70% done.

What resolution does the texture have? I'm about to start making textures for my model which is also a vehicle and don't really know what size should I use.

I exported a 2048x2048 UVW Map for the main body and 1024x1024 for the rest. Maybe it's just me or the brush i used but there looks like some small pixilation close up.
I've got the same problem with the pixies at 2048 and 1024 so I guess it's not about the brush sizes ( I use 1-2 px for drawing panel lines) and I resized the model in lenght to 270.93mm which is 1024 px so the dim is the same... I think it's about exporting the uvw template. If I make a simple texture in size of 512 in ps and use in 3dsmax I don't have pixilation problem.

I've yet to model the front and rear drive system and i just stuck a basic ring inside the tyre well for now.
I love the APC, it's a great design.
