Perspective Display Error

Hi Guys!

I hope you can help me with this, since almighty Google didnA’t came up with a solution!

IA’m using 3dsmax 10 64bit with DirectX 9, since 10 doesnA’t seem to work properly.
I need a mental ray render with a multi-sub material, whereas some subs are composite materials with a standard material without any map or other adjustments, just for the color and as a second composite slot I also have a standard map, but with wire, so I can see every edge in my render. This works just fine for rendering, but in my Perspective Viewport, all Objects with this Material are transperent, which sucks.

Any ideas? Please tell me which nasty little box i need to check. :argh:

Hmm..well..it could be that your material is too complex for the viewport.

You can use a ShellAc material I think, and put your complex mat in as the mat to use for rendering, and put the simple mat without the wire stuff as the mat to use for the viewport
