Interesting. I take it the small thingies bending upward are the nacelle pylons?

Interesting concept. Could use some fleshing-out, but the idea is good. If you ask me (and you didn't) I think those pylons should be more TOS or TMP style (straight and angled), rather than curved as they are.

What prog are you using to model? Sketchup?

Interesting, always wondered why this model never transgressed into the next gen era.

Way too many windows too close together, but other than that it looks to be a solid design. :)

Has potential, but I think that your ship has to many windows, especially over the saucer, and they are a bit bigger than necessary. ;)

Looks interesting. Just a comment, wouldn't it be better to make the pylons thicker (ie, to allow for turbolifts to move through them) instead of having an interconnecting dorsal? That way the design more closely resembles the original Oberth. Just a thought. :)

Well I didn't really think the window thing through enough, i'll downsize it a bit.

Pretty cool. I'm actually creating the concept design version that I found.

I think there should be a neck right down the middle of the ship with an embedded torpedo launcher a-la Enterprise-A.

I don't think that would take much away from the look.
