OMG....IM SOOOOO UPSET, I lost the Fighter...OMG...Back to the drawing board...But...I am not going to let that get to me, I will make it even better...promise..
Ok i had a MAJOR set back but i think this design will be better...as you can see i have given the ejection module it's own wings so it will have some steering ability...but i am also keeping the inverted wing design.
This is taking an interesting direction... I wonder if the cockpit would be cool if it was somehow inset, or interlocked to the drive section, and clamped with explosive bolts?
Also a side note, the Fighter will have a standard process of a vertical landing...so instead of landing the normal way it will come inside the Star Carrier and make a Vertical Landing on the Pads...
You might want to consider that, from the pilots POV, the forward wings might be an obstruction. Any way to push them farther back? This is why I drive myself crazy when I model... I can't just accept that these are fictional creations!
A useful design trick, when modelling a fighter like this, is to put a camera in the pilots seat, and rotate it around to see what a pilot would see. I like the pointy-ness of the original canards, maybe if you moved them back more, towards the pilots peripheral line of sight?
I don't think the pilot has a very good sight. Especially if the attacker comes from underneath, the pilot can't see **** in that direction. I personally would move the front wings back a little more and make them smaller. It would still be able to manouvre in the atmosphere, just take a look at the Eurofighter.

Maybe medication will help me...
Anyway, it looks cool, and thats the real goal!
Either way, good progress on this!
Apart from that, a great design.
