Hi guys,

I made a new Version of th ED209. :) I just tried to make it a bit more realistic. Here is a frontside view of it.

Here is the Mesh of this shot...:

...and here is the backside view of it:

It is rendered in Cinema4D with Vray4C4d 1.2 in 30min, and for sure I also used PS to elaborate the metallic look a bit.

So, I hope you ll like it.

THXs for watching :)

Great work, the textures and the render look fantastic the only little nip is that the curve at the top of the legs/hips are not very smooth. Still excellent though.

You've got some excellent work on your site, I especially like your architecture images as well as your BSG Raptor and hanger bay. :thumb:

The first thing I thought of when I saw the last image was:

"Uh, thanks, but I'll take the next elevator."

    'Looks very good.

    ED looks great.
It's been awhile since I last saw the film, but dosn't Ed have a hand?

Does not really matter, this looks great.

Amazing model and the last render is really cool as well :thumb: It looks like its legs are rigged , right ? (at least the sliding parts :p)

great work, I am a huge robo fan and love those pics. The only thing I can point out that I find a lil iffy in the renderings is that its to shiny. ED was a military unit, using darker grey, and not as shiny as to stand out.

so all in all great model, could just use a color tweak to be more canon.

Awesome work beautiful model. One thing I don't know if you've noticed your model doesn't have the bottom row of teeth that's on ED209. I only noticed because when they made the film it was one of the things they changed they were meant to be up the top but it didn't look right so they flipped the mouth up side down.

Again brilliant work, a big 2 thumbs up.
