3DPHOTOREALISTIC Earth and some unknown Planets!

This image was only made with Cinema4D.
There was no postwork!
I tried to have a realistic light and look as real as possible! I used 43K NASA textures and a new C4D Shader for it. The Rendertime was in 5000x2500 on a 8Core. 5min.

how did you do this? I'm using C4D as well, but I never got the atmosphere right...

Fantastic stuff. My only crit would be that you should use a high res earth and cloud texture. On some of the images they are looking slightly pixelated. Are you using multiple spheres for the different layers are a multi-layer texture?

These look fantastic! One minor nit, on this image (http://www.3dportfolio.de/bilder/PlanetEarth_by_3DPORFTOLIO.jpg) you can see an image seam. I didn't notice it at first but at second glance it stood out.

Yea I know there are some probs in the Maps, but like I wrote, there is no postwork.
