Star Trek Dooms Day machine help pls

hi all, just wondering what would be the best way to build the dooms day machine in 3d studio max? im have a lot of trouble getting it right and was wondering if u guys could help

    I think this should be moved to the WIP forum. Otherwise, it looks okay, just smooth the inside of the mouth.

    The original model was a windsock covered in concrete... Perhaps subdividing the model and adding a concrete map based displacement modifier would give you the right look to the outside

    Hit F1 and type in displacement... It's a modifier
